1. About These Terms

These terms and conditions apply to the use of www.thetonerplace.co.uk. By accessing this website and/or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms. This website is operated by The Toner Place Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 12513098), VAT No. GB340092731. Our registered address is Unit 9 Innovation Centre, Conyngham Hall, Knaresborough, HG5 9AY.

These terms do not affect your statutory rights.

2. Product Information & Definitions

Compatible: A new item manufactured by a third party to the specifications of the original equipment manufacturer (OEM).
Remanufactured: An original item that has been used once, then professionally refurbished and refilled.
Genuine / OEM: A new item manufactured by the OEM.

We make every effort to ensure product descriptions are accurate. However, we cannot be held responsible for errors in information provided by our suppliers. Images are for illustrative purposes and may not be an exact representation of the product received. On occasion, we may substitute a product for an equivalent item from a different supplier to ensure continuity of supply.

All brand names and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used for descriptive purposes only.

3. Ordering & Contract Formation

When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy goods. We will send you an email to confirm that we have received your order. A legally binding contract is formed between you and The Toner Place Ltd only when the goods have been paid for in full and dispatched from our warehouse.

4. Pricing & Payment

All prices are displayed in Pounds Sterling (£) and are inclusive of VAT at the standard UK rate of 20%.

We accept payment via most major credit/debit cards (excluding Amex and Diners Club), PayPal, Google Pay, and Apple Pay. You may also pay by BACS or telephone by calling us on 01423 226448. All online transactions are protected by TLS 1.2 encryption. We do not store any financial details.

In the event of a pricing error on our website, we reserve the right to refuse to supply the product at the stated price. We will contact you to inform you of the correct price, and you will have the option to either proceed with the order or cancel for a full refund.

5. Delivery

We aim to dispatch all orders received before 4:00 PM on the same business day. Delivery typically takes 1-3 business days. For the most current delivery charges and information, please see our dedicated Delivery Page.

6. Cancellation, Returns & Refunds

Your rights differ depending on whether you are a private individual (Consumer) or a business customer.

For Consumers:

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of receiving your goods. This is your "cooling-off period".

To return an item, you must first obtain a Returns Authorisation Number. Please email us at sales@thetonerplace.co.uk with your order number and reason for return. Goods must be returned in their original, unopened, and resalable condition. You are responsible for the cost of return postage.

You must take reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession. We reserve the right to make a deduction from the refund for any loss in value of the goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.

For Business Customers:

These regulations do not apply to business-to-business transactions. We are not obligated to accept returns for goods that are not faulty. However, we aim to provide excellent service and may, at our sole discretion, offer an exchange or refund. Please contact us to discuss any issues.

7. Our Liability

The Toner Place Ltd provides this website on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use or misuse of this site or the products sold on it. This does not affect your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

For business customers, our liability shall not exceed the cost of the purchased product.

8. General

Retention of Title: All goods remain the property of The Toner Place Ltd until paid for in full with cleared funds.
Page Yield: Page yield figures are based on an industry standard of 5% A4 page coverage and are for guidance only. Actual yields will vary based on usage.
Availability: All products are displayed in good faith. If an item is unavailable after an order is placed, we will inform you and offer a suitable alternative or a full refund.
Governing Law: These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
